In addition to the purchase of purely legal herbs (ie cultivated as part of natural resource recovery projects), our company also supports the project of conservation and restoration of the rain forest.
The Peruvian government strictly controls the origin of all natural resources, not only in exports, but also within Peru (in between the provinces). All natural resources (in our case flowers) must come from cultivated resources, harvesting wild flowers is prohibited and severely penalized. The competent authority in Peru is SERFOR (Servicio National Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre), an agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources. More information about the Natural Resources Policy of the Republic of Peru can be found here https://www.serfor.gob.pe/.
Oro Verde's expert guarantor Miroslav Dorazil regularly visits the places where the flowers are being grown and carefully checks not only the correctness of the entire process, but alsothe compliance with all legislative regulations. He has the necessary qualification to do this because he is an agricultural engineer specializing in tropical medicinal plants and occasionally lectures on this topic in Peru on both university and public grounds.
Moreover, on the basis of this contract, our company financially supports the project Chullachaki Forest, which is being implemented by our expert guarantor, dr. Elena Li Pereyr. She, as the owner of the land, registers and leads this project ACP (Areas de Conservacion Privada). It is a land covering an extent of 19.89 hectares of primary rain forest on Lake Yarinacocha in the province of Coronel Portillo, Ucayali Department.
The terms and conditions of the ACP project have been established, approved, authorized and controlled by the SERNANP (Servicio Nacional de Areas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado), founded and led by the Ministerio del Ambiente (ME) of the Republic of Peru.
The aim is to protect and conserve the tropical rain forest and its flora and fauna sources, in many cases endangered and/or endemic species.
You can find more information about the ACP project conditions here (pdf) or at http://www.sernanp.gob.pe/areas-de-conservacion-privada.
Oro Verde s.r.o. company is participating in the realization of this unique project, which is a pioneer project, especially in the province of Coronel Portillo and the whole department of Ucayali. Unlike others, no ACP project has been implemented in this department yet.
Our company pays 4% of each product sold to support the realization, so by purchasing Oro Verde herbs you participate in this particular step of conservation and conservation of the primary rainforest.
Chullachaki or also Chullachaquí or in other cultures Shapishico is a mystical figure, one of the spirits of the rain forest. According to some interpretations, even one of the highest ones. He is usually described as a small, dwarf ugly man who has one leg longer, larger, and more asymmetrical than the other, sometimes referred to as a hoof leg (Quechua is "one-legged"; chulla or ch'ulla = asymmetric, separate and chaki = foot).
