TAWARI NEGRO (Tabebuia serratifolia Vahl. Nich. Cortex) - food supplement.
A massive tree, one with the skeletal trees of the upper floor of the tropical rainforest, it is tawari, tahuari, tabebu, in Brazil ipe, pau d arco or also lapacho. There are over 200 species of the genus Tabebuia growing in the Amazon, and only a true expert can identify individual species whose ethnomedical traditional use is passed from generation to generation.
