TAWARI AMARILLO (Tabebuia chrysantha Jacq. Nich. Cortex) - food supplement.
A massive tree, a representative of the skeletal trees of a higher floor of the tropical rain forest. Its name is tawari, tahuari or tabebu. In Brazil, they call it ipe, pau d arco or lapacho. There grow over 200 species of tabebuia in the Amazon and only true knowledgeable individuals recognize individual species. The ways of use of this tree in traditional ethnomedicin are being passed from generation to generation. The trees blooms elegant, large trumpet-shaped blossoms. The bast of some of its species is also a used as a part of the famous drink called Siete raices (Seven Roots).

Use for decoction:
pour 1 liter of cold water onto 5 grams of the herb, bring to a boil, cook on low heat under a lid for about 20-30 minutes, then drain and sip 3 dcl 3 times a day. The drink can be sweetened with bee honey to achieve a better taste.
