JERGON SACHA tuber (Dracontium loretense Engl. Tuberus) in VEGA capsules - food supplement.

This tropical plant as a type of an aron, which consists of a single, gigantic and deeply divided leaf growing from an undergrowth tuber on a long and thick stem, which resembles a young tree trunk. Ethnobotanically it is considered a model plant, its use is related to the physical appearance of the plant. For example, the scaly stem and the speckled color of Jergon Sacha very much resemble a poisonous snake from the same area. The pointed ends of the leaf then resemble the snake's poisonous teeth.
