Copaiba (Copaifera officinalis L. Resina) tincture.

This slender Amazonisn tree reaches up to 30 meters in its height. It has a heavily branched crown and it represents one of the skeletal trees of the upper floor of the tropical rain forest. The tree is a source of resin, also known as the "balsamo de copaiba“, as the natives call it. The native tribes use it in their traditional ethnomedicine. The resin is obtained by gently drilling the slender strain. Apart from the resin, its seeds are being used to make a pressed oil, which the rainforest communities also use to help with healing.
